Mrs. Louise Jackson peacefully departed this life on August 4, 2026. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.
Louise was a dedicated worker who spent several years at Wight Nursery in Cairo, Georgia, before retiring as a nutritionist with the Thomas County School System. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and faith touched many lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mandy Lee Mills and James Brown, Sr.; her brothers, James Brown, Jr., Jimmy Brown, and Curtis Brown; and her sisters, Geraldine Addison and Amanda Lee Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Charlie Jackson of Ochlocknee, Georgia; her daughter, Gwendolyn Jones of Pelham, Georgia; her son, Albert Jones of Buford, Georgia; bonus daughters, Pheobia Eason (Edward), Charlene Jackson, Alfreda Jenkins, all of Meigs, Georgia, Amanda Walton (Carl) Pelham, Georgia, Christine Jackson, Macon, Georgia; her beloved grandchildren, Reva Johnson, Derek Johnson, Albert Jones, Jr., Darrien Stevens, Christy Jones, Eric Jones, Fredrick Jones, and Ann Jones; her siblings, Earl Brown, Charlie Lee Brown, Estella Lee Brown, Eddie Lee Brown, Gwen Brown, Timothy Brown, Annie Lee Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Louise's love, faith, and caring spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
