Livingston Mobley

Livingston Wenedell Mobley was born to the late Oscar Mobley and Rudeen Evans Williams on December 31, 1951 in Cairo, Georgia.


He graduated from Coral Gables High School in Miami, Florida. Shortly after, He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1976. In 1980, he was discharged honorably with a Purple Heart. Later on, he attended the University of Miami, receiving two Associate's Degrees in Business and Sociology. He was also a member of The American Legion 519.


He was joined in holy matrimony with Janice Nixon-Mobley for 29 years and with this union and in love, they birthed two daughters.


He was a dedicated member and Usher of First Unity Baptist Church of Thomasville, Georgia.


He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Janice Nixon-Mobley of Thomasville, Georgia; His children: Christopher Paulk of Miami, Florida; Nicole Mobley-Dean of Greensboro, North Carolina; Shareka Nixon-Mobley of Atlanta, Georgia; LiQuetta Mobley of Thomasville, Georgia. Brothers: Oscar Benard Mobley of Atlanta, Georgia; Harry Williams, Jr., Tommy (Alberta) Williams, Kedrick (Stephanie) Fuller, and Stephen (Connie) Fuller. All residing in Miami, Florida. In-Laws: Jessie (Elaine) Hill, Johnny Nixon, Jr. and Christopher (Vanessa) Nixon of Elyria, Ohio; Delores Ware of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Lyndon Nixon and Carlton (Brenda) Nixon of Thomasville, Georgia; Jarvis Nixon and Debra Ann Nixon of Ochlocknee, Georgia. Aunt: Mary Conley of California and God-Daughter Alexia C. Bean of Thomasville, Georgia. He also has 9 grandchildren.


Preceding him in death which left an empty space in his heart, Oscar and Lora Mobley; Harry and Rudeen Williams, Sr.
