Lewis Hardy, Sr.

September 5, 1956 — June 11, 2020

A Time to Rejoice – Amos 5:4
Lewis "G" Hardy, Sr. transitioned to his Heavenly Home
on June 11, 2020 to celebrate with the late family members,
father Thomas J Hardy, his mother Joyce Hardy, sister Velma
Hardy, Linda G. Hardy; brothers Larry Hardy, William Hardy
and Isaiah King (Pookie). He was one of the nine siblings,
survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Born in Thomasville, GA.
he was loved by all whose lives he touched.

A Time to Love - Ecclesiastes 3:8
He loved sports, especially football, where his favorite team
was the Falcons, known as the "dirty birds" to him. In his
early years, Lewis Hardy worked for White Fence Company
where he learned how to build fences. With these skills he
went on to start "Pitt Bull Fence Company." He worked
this business for many years, but was forced to give up the
career he loved due to his health.
Amongst his family and friends, he was known for his
kindness and good heart. He was the most generous and
detached person who never met a stranger. To his late
co-workers that has preceded him in death: George Lewis,
David Lewis & Lil D we can rest assure the
Pearly Gates will be well-put together. His favorite quote:
"My name is Lewis "G" Hardy
and the "G" stands for Got to be more careful."

A Time to Cherish His Memory – Ecclesiastes 3:4
He leaves behind to cherish his special memories, Ms. Lettie
Jones (special friend), his sons: Lewis G. (Brenda) Hardy, Jr.,
Frederick (Whitney) Hardy, Bennie Baynard, Jr., Lyndon
(Precious) Jackson, Sr. and his daughters Regina M. Hardy
