Obituary for Levi Sirmons

Levi Sirmons was born on November 1, 1965, to the late Levi Sirmons and Elizabeth Sirmons.

In the mid-1980s, he found Jesus Christ and began evangelizing after many personal trials that helped him understand his purpose and calling. Levi believed he was called to teach and serve those who could not be reached through traditional churches. This led him to minister to the homeless and to people who felt hope was out of reach. His passion was spreading the Good News and leaving his special kindness and love with every life he touched, including family and friends.

Levi graduated from Thomasville High School in 1985. After graduation, he moved from Thomasville to Atlanta, Georgia, where he worked at Chiba Vision. Later, he fully surrendered his life to his calling and devoted himself to teaching and sharing the Good News—telling others that they too could be delivered, made whole, and live free through the power he experienced in his own life.

He was also a dedicated worker at Yardsy, where he was described as family, not just an employee.

Levi transitioned from this life on March 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory four sisters: Loretta Sirmons of Atlanta, Georgia; Sharon Scott of Tallahassee, Florida; Jannie Sirmons of Thomasville, Georgia; and Carmen T. Clark of Thomasville, Georgia; as well as Cynethia A. Stafford. He also leaves one uncle, Gus Tillman; three aunts, Grace Dubose, Lulabell Hill, and Brigette Sirmons; a special nephew, John R. Cain; and a host of nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and extended family.
