Leona Thompson

Leona Childs Thompson was born May 27, 1946 to the late AJ Childs, Sr. and the Late Esther Bell Banks-Childs.

Mrs. Thompson was a LPN for over 40 years and attended Douglas High School, Class of 1964.

Mrs. Leona Thompson was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend and a devoted Christian that loved and trusted God to the end.

She leaves to cherish her three wonderful sons, Freddie Lee Elliott, Jr. of Thomasville, GA., Michael Leon Elliott, of Colorado Springs, CO and Sean Vidal Elliott (Patricia) of Thomasville, GA., nine grandchildren, Seandale, Lashondria, Brianna, and Brian Elliott, Freda, Faith, Fatima Elliott, Michael X. Elliott, and Shantell Williams and eight great grandchildren and four sister, Mary Clark (Wayne), Irene Ashford, Debra Childs-Yearby (Ralph), Barbara Jean Childs-King (Harris) and one Brother Charlie Childs, and a host of nieces, nephews, and a friend Donna Krumbholz.

Freddie Lee Elliott, Sr. preceded her in death and her three siblings, Ester Childs, AJ Childs and Henry Childs.
