Lee Wesley Thomas

August 18, 1954 — June 22, 2025

Mr. Lee Wesley Thomas was born on August 18, 1954, in Boston, Georgia, to the late Wilbur and Gladys Thomas. He was a graduate of Thomas County Central High School, Class of 1973. Over the course of his life, Lee worked at various establishments, eventually dedicating many years of service to a prominent beverage distributor.

Lee was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Reatha Thomas, and his daughter, LaTorria Austin. Also preceding him in death were his siblings Wilbur Thomas Jr., Gary Thomas, and Barbara Wideman, as well as his precious granddaughter, Channing Quinichett.

Known for his gentle spirit and loving heart, Lee was a man of kindness, humility, and deep faith. He never met a stranger and brought smiles wherever he went. His joy for life was seen in his laughter, his light-hearted jokes, and his passion for travel. Above all, Lee was a man of God, whose journey was marked by devotion, grace, and service.

Lee leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted eldest son, Johnta Thomas (Djuana) of Virginia; his loving daughters, Monique Thomas of Virginia, and Tracy Whitehead (Donald) of Maryland; and son, Anthony Walker (Denicia) of Maryland. He is also survived by his siblings: Earl Major, Brenda McCaskill, and Marilyn Bean (Willie); grandchildren: Ashleigh Thomas, Makayla Thomas, Johnta Thomas Jr., Dayoun Austin, DJ Austin, Devin Neither, Niles Walker, Brayden Walker, and Kamryn Walker. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the love he gave. Also left to cherish his memory is dearest friend and companion Connie Barr.
