Mr. Larry Davis, Sr.

Mr. Larry Davis, Sr. was born in Meigs, GA to the late L.H. Davis and Lillie Mae Davis on December 9, 1952.

Mr. Davis was educated in the Thomas County School System class of 1970. He then joined the United States Army. He was Honorably Discharged.

He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Ollie Mae Davis, whom preceded him in death.

Mr. Davis departed this life on May 7, 2023 at his home. He was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his brothers, Ronnie, Bennie, Leo, L. H. Elijah, and Ricky Davis; sister, Linda Davis; daughter, Desi Reese; grandson, Larry Davis and granddaughter, Hayden M. Smith.

Larry is survived by his sons, Larry (Alice) Davis, Jr. of Meigs, GA, Michael Davis and Roderrick Dennard of Thomasville, GA; sisters, Vicky (Tony) of Cairo, GA, Sue Ann Davis of Meigs, GA Kathy (Cornelius) Woodard of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Kenneth (Sophia) Davis of Pelham, GA, Harry (Bridgett) Davis of Boston, GA; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
