Kimberly Walden

July 26, 1979 — September 7, 2021

Kimberly Lashon Walden was born on July 26, 1979 in Thomasville, GA to Lillie Logan Walden and the late Willie Roy Walden, who preceded her in death. She was called to her Heavenly resting place on September 7, 2021 at Archbold Hospital. She accepted Christ at an early while attending Paradise Missionary Baptist Church with family.

She graduated from Thomasville High School in 1998.

Kim, as she was affectionally known to her family and friends, loved to cook, catering (Lashonti's), event planning (K & L Events), spending time with family and friends, music, traveling, watching movies, playing cards but most of all she loved to take pictures. She was a very caring person who never met a stranger and would always be the life of the party. Her greatest joy was her granddaughter, Mila, watching her grow and spending time with her.

She leaves to cherish her memories her Fiance, Lewis C. Mitchell, Jr. of Thomasville, GA; her loving mother, Lillie Logan Walden of Thomasville, GA; her loving two children, Tyneisha Bush (Nick) and Lewis C. Mitchell, III both of Thomasville, GA; her only loving grandchild, Mila Amore Rose Patterson of Thomasville, GA; four brothers, Willie C. Walden (Mary) of Chesapeake, Virginia; Craig E. Walden (Valerie) of Thomasville, GA; Alfred J. Walden of Thomasville; Roderick L. Walden (Amber) of Thomasville, GA and Derek W. Walden of Atlanta, GA; aunt, Evonne Hadley of Thomasville, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She also leaves to cherish her memories, her best friends and God sisters Yolanda Thompkins, Zenobia Mack, Angelia Williams, Shameka Bush and Kadrica Sharpe.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Steve E. Walden and Ricky L. Walden, both maternal and paternal grandparents and aunts, Hattie M. Logan, Betty J. Harris and Joanne Brown.
