Kesha Rochelle James, born July 19th, 1973 in Thomasville Georgia, to the late Samuel L. James and Myra Sabina Thomas, went home to be with the lord on March 17, 2025. Kesha lived in Thomasville the early part of her life before spending time in Meridian Mississippi, before ultimately settling in St. Petersburg Florida.
Kesha attended Thomasville High, eventually earning her GED. She took several college courses online, Rumor has it that she even took a welding class.
Kesha was also an entrepreneur. She started a recording studio in St Petersburg called Kush Cave, her last venture, which she had to end due to her ongoing health issues, and a consignment shop named Secrets in Thomasville, GA.
Even though Kesha endured long term health issues later in life, she lived life to the fullest, always on the move. Her travels even took her to Mexico and Michigan. She also liked to make candles. While her health issues slowed her down physically, it did not dampen her spirit.
Kesha was a dedicated mother, who loved and adored her children, Kevin, Keaujha, and the late Phillip Bell Jr.
Kesha is survived by her mother, Myra Thomas; son, Kevin "Man" Naylor, (Savannah); daughter, Keaujha " Pooh" James; brother, Anthony (Maria) Walker; uncles, James Thomas (Debora), Kenneth Thomas (Tamara), Charles Thomas (Sharon), Bruce Thomas, Jan Thomas; aunts, Shirley Duncan, Gloria Johnson, Sally Graham ( Eddie ), Lucille Bacon (Arthur), Lucinda Brown, Rosa Lee James, Marjorie James; grandmother, Margaret Thomas and a host of cousins and friends.
