Mrs. Kelsey Ann Williams

August 27, 1954 — January 18, 2023

Mrs. Kelsey Ann Williams affectionately called Ms. Ann was born on August 27, 1954, to the late Coreatha Taylor Williams and Walter Williams in Thomasville, GA.
She attended Thomasville High School where she graduated in the class of 1972. She accepted Christ and loved the lord. She had an assignment with the lord, and she completed her assignment. On January 18, 2023, Ms. Ann took hold of gods unchanging hand to walk the streets of gold.
Ms. Ann was a ray of sunshine. She poured so much love and light into anyone she came in contact with. She would give you the shirt off her back. She would feed and nourish anyone who was in need. She would open up her home to anyone in need and cook them a hot meal. She was LOVE and LIGHT. She never met a stranger...Everyone loved her. Ms. Ann was an amazing cook, and everyone enjoyed her good home-cooked meals. She loved to dress up and wear her makeup. She was very adamant about keeping her nails/toes done. She had to have those nails/toes done or else. Once she got all dolled up, she would say...How does your mother look baby, especially to her children. Ms. Ann said all she was going to do was DRESS and REST. Ms. Ann was a remarkable woman who loved her children, grandchildren, and anyone who came in contact with her. Ms. Ann has truly left her mark here on earth where her legacy will forever live on through her children and grandchildren.

She was employed at Ralphs Market on Carroll hill for many years where she became family and connected to the community. She drove school buses for Thomas County School System and Thomas County Head Start where she also cooked in the cafeteria. She later took her cooking talents to Southern Pines and Plantation Manor Where she cooked and served hot and homecooked meals for the elderly for many moons.

She leaves to Cherish her greatest, sweetest but most REMARKABLE memories, a husband Mr. Larry Akery; Her daughters; Tiffany Williams, Lanell Mitchell, andWhitneyBaker. A son Mr. Walter Peoples.
