Keita Floyd

Giving Thanks to GOD, and Savior, The Lord (IESUA) Jesus the Christ…who created all things, both in Heaven and Earth…


Keita Charles Floyd, was born into this Earthly World on the summer day of Thursday, July 10, 1980 @ 1:47pm, at the Mount Sinai Hospital, Miami Beach, Florida; to His Mother, Rozita L. Williams, and Father, Charles E. Floyd. Keita, who was affectionately called "Bubba" by his Love ones, especially in South Florida. Keita, whose name is of African origin, meaning "Blessed- King", was a Blessing to a wonderful support group of Family members, including a paternal Great-grandmother, Annie Wallace, and Grandmother, Elizabeth Floyd, both born in Beachton, GA, and relocated to Florida in 1920.., and a maternal Grandmother, Julia Williams-Guyton, of Thomasville, GA; who were all very special and instrumental from Keita's infancy to upon his reaching manhood, by the introduction and providing the knowledge of GOD into his life.. He was affectionately supported by his Mother and Father, all of his Aunts and Uncles, many Cousins, and Friends.


He possessed dual citizenship of both Florida and Georgia. He was educated in the Public schools systems of both Miami-Dade, and Thomasville-Thomas, counties. He was given by The Lord, the opportunity to grow up in Thomasville, with his big brother Kevin Williams. Keita, along with his first cousin, Ronald Mitchell, (01/06/1981), and at the time his Baby brother, Joshua Ali Floyd, (07/21/1981), born a year later and 11days apart. The three was also known as, The 3 Musketeers, 3 Amigos, The Terrible 3, etc.… gave Grandma Julia fits trying to keep them all on the straight and narrow. But they were all smart and innovative. Competitive Sports were also apart of their upbringing. Traveling the USA and abroad was interjectively apart of his and his siblings lives...


In September of the year 2000, Keita gave his parents a wonderful and great gift, their first precious Granddaughter, the eloquent, fabulous, and gracious, Arrienne Danielle Floyd.


Keita moved to Atlanta, in 2005. He then moved to Southern California in 2007, later gravitating north to the Bay area of Oakland and San Leandro, California in 2010. Working mainly in the Trucking industry. Keita in the January of 2013 met the gorgeous and vivacious, Vanessa Hunt, of San Leandro, Calif; and on 12/12/2013, gave to his parents, his second Grandchild, a beautiful Baby boy, Keivan Joshua Floyd who's now in love with the game of baseball.


Keita passed away in Fremont CA on December 30, 2020. He leaves to mourn a Daughter, Arienna Floyd; a Son, Keivan Floyd; Mother, Rozita Williams; Father, Charles E Floyd & Tangela, Miami FL & Lithonia GA; Brothers, Kevin Williams, Oakland CA; Joshua A Floyd (Calandria), Lake Park, GA; Micheal Littlejohn Jr., Atlanta GA; Isaiah Floyd, Lithonia GA; Sisters, Pamela Thompson (Kevin), Tampa FL; Tamara - Kenon(Micheal), Stonecrest GA; Kenya Floyd-Knight, Albany GA; Ayshah Floyd, Lithonia GA; Uncles and Aunts, Rev Naomi's Kelly, Miami FL; John B & Katrina Williams, Rialto CA; Ophelia Williams, Miami FL; Phillip & Hattie Walker, Miami FL; John H & Joyce Floyd, Miami FL; Floyd & Toni Williams, Jonesboro GA; Gregory & Sabrina Floyd, Miami FL; and Caroline Williams, Decatur GA; Special Friend in Life,Vanessa Hunt, San Leandro, CA and a host of Cousins, Relatives, and Friends.
