Elder Karl Fann Sr. was born in Thomasville, GA on July 17, 1959 to Mother Bessie Lee Fann and to The Late Elder Ellis Fann. Elder Karl Fann Sr. received his wings and transitioned from this life on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at his home in Thomasville GA.
A Time to Live and Love
Elder Karl Fann Sr. received his education from Thomasville High School and was a member Thomasville High Band. February 28th, 1980, he enlisted and served in the United States Army as a Specialist. After serving his country, Elder Karl Fann, Sr. returned Thomasville and worked with his father for years in his construction company, known as Ellis Fann and Sons Construction. He attended Southwest Georgia Regional College in Thomasville GA. Elder Karl Fann, Sr. was later ordained as a Minister of the Gospel at Family and Friends, Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, and Zion Christian Bible College.
A Time to Create Precious Memories
Karl married the former Ethel Roberts-Reddick and to this union two children were born. He later married Sandra Davis of Thomasville, Georgia. He was an active member in the community at Scott Senior Citizens Center in Thomasville GA and enjoyed serving others. He was a devoted grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an active Minister at Rocky Hill AME Church in Beachton, GA.

Elder Karl Fann, Sr. leaves to cherish precious memories: his beloved mother, Mother Bessie Lee Fann, Thomasville, GA; four beautiful daughters: Andrena Hicks, Sabrina Hicks, Thomasville GA, Natasha Williams (Michael) Ochlocknee, GA; Shamina Lagrone, Lancaster, CA; one son Karl Fann Jr.: Four beautiful sisters: Pastor Linda A. Bradley (William) Thomasville GA, Linda G. Fann, Stone Mountain GA; Korlis Jefferson, Decatur, GA; Patricia F. (John) Parker, Raleigh, NC; two brothers: Alfonso (Rebecca) Fann and Darryl Fann (both of Thomasville, GA) 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; Aunts: Bertha Johnson (Harry), Sarah Pettis (Donald), Carolyn Willis (all of Thomasville, GA) a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
