June Kathleen Samuel was born on November 14, 1976 to Glenda Bivens Thomas and Wesley Davis Thomas, II in Bronx, NY. She moved to Thomasville, GA at a young age.
After finishing high school, she pursued a career in nursing just like her aunt, Mae Dean Bivens. She obtained her certified nursing assistant certificate, then later obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Thomas Technical Institute. She was employed at Sunnyland Packing Company as a meat processor, a Pediatric Nurse at Southwestern State Hospital and a driver for the Senior Transportation System.
She enjoyed mother and daughter bonding activities. Even in difficult times, she made light of all situations. She was the Chaperon for her daughter, Kieanna Samuel, etiquette classes.
She departed this life on September 19, 2024.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Charles Samuel; three children, William (Willie) Thomas, Simon Thomas, Kieanna Samuel; mother, Glenda Bivens Thomas; brother, Wesley Davis Thomas, III; sister, Glenda Thomas – Oliver and nephews, Jamel Thomas, Eltroy M. Oliver.
She was the rock of the sister in laws of the Samuel Family which will also miss her dearly. Her sisters in law, Maxine Coasey, Essie Moore, Angle Bryant, Teresa Samuel and Cynthia Samuel.
She also leaves her devoted cousins, Anthony (Marilyn) Thompson, Derrick Smith, Hiram (Claudia) Thompson, Stephanie Thompson, Stanley Trina Smith, Stephan (Devona) Thompson, Tiffany (Andre) Smith, Quanda (Merrill) Baker, Nancy Vickers and a host of other relative and friends.
