Judith (Judy) Tibus Dagunan was born July 11, 1942, to Victoria Flores Tibus and Sergio Daganun. From an early age, she loved God and had a passion for people. Judy attended Binalbagan Catholic College in Negros Occidental in the Philippines, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Education. She was a public-school teacher. She taught first grade at Molobolo Elementary School for four years in Cauayan, Negros Occidental, Philippines; before deciding to move to America in 1977. Judy had the pleasure of being hosted by a family in Americus, Georgia when she first arrived in America. She lived in Americus until she decided to make Tifton, GA her home. She lived in Tifton for the remaining years of her life in America. Many described her as God fearing, family oriented, very hard working, and a wonderful friend. She loved her independence and enjoyed living in solitude. Her hobbies consisted of reading the bible, watching CBN, listening to worship music, and crocheting. Besides her family whom she loved very much and who meant the world to her, she also loved Shaneka, who was dear to her heart.
