Joyce Ann Henderson departed from this earth on December 5, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends. Joyce was born December 7, 1974 in Quitman Georgia to Daisy Henderson and Jesse Wells. She grew up on Chinquapin plantation, where she was raised by her stepfather, Joseph Curry and her mother, Daisy. Joyce attended Thomas County Central High School, where she went on to be a homemaker. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends, going fishing and singing. Joyce always could put a smile on your face, even if she didn’t feel like smiling herself, she was the smile to light up the room and the life of the party

Joyce is survived by her mother, Daisy Samuel (Kenneth); her father, Jesse Wells; her children, Jessica Henderson (Octavius), Jakeria Henderson (Derrick) and Clarence Bryant; her aunts, Gail Brinson, Lillie Henderson, Lizzie Richardson, Virginia Wells (Rome), Frances Fielder (Terry), Patricia Wells Williams (Larry), Wanda Boiler (Carlos); Uncle, Aaron Henderson; siblings, Michell Curry (Jamal), Avery Henderson, Eric Wells (Teresa), and Michelle Wells; her best friend, Laquan Howard; special friend, Nathaniel Wilkerson, Grandchildren, Zykeria Henderson, Kheyman Slaughter, Zoey Butler, Clareyonna Jackson, Derrick Mccoy, Jr, Clarence Bryant, Carson Virgil, Cayden Virgil; nephews, Markese Monroe, Avery Henderson, Jr, Xavier Tillman, Zamari Curry, and Domonic Tillman, Avery Henderson, III, Eric Wells, Jr, Legend Wells, Bently Turner, Nieces Dyasia Walden, Breana Walden, Janiya Wells, Jamar Dickerson, Jenecia Dickerson and a host of other loved ones and friends.
