Joshua Tim was born on August 17, 1943, to the late Anna Shepard Tim and Robert Tim, who both preceded him in death

Josh was a lifelong resident of Thomasville. A hardworking and dedicated man, he spent much of his life doing what he loved—working on cars, trucks, and bikes, and devoting himself to his lifelong career as a farmer. Known by many as “Bossman,” he was respected for his skills, his strong work ethic, and his presence in the community. During his time on earth, he gained a close friend, Jake Nelson, Jr.

On April 30, 2026, God saw fit to grant Josh eternal rest. Having fulfilled his purpose in life, he peacefully departed this world to be reunited with loved ones who had gone before him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his spouse, Shirley Nathan; children by relationship, Lisa Patterson, Mathew Nathan Jr., and Yolanda Nathan; along with siblings, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
