Joseph Armster was born on January 11, 1964 in Thomasville, Georgia to the late Frank and Mae Etta Armster.
Joseph accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mr. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church on the Lower Boston Road in Thomasville, Georgia.
He was a 1983 graduate of Thomasville High School.
Joseph was a music lover. Spinning records and mixing music was his thing, which earned him the name "Smooth Moves". He was also a part of the group called Disco Willie and The Super Jocks.
Joseph enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling. In his latter years, he just simply enjoyed being in and feeling the sunshine.
For years, he worked at Balfour Lumber Company and he also did carpentry work.
Joseph's love and kindness will forever be in the hearts of his daughters, Telecia Armster of Monticello, FL and Tiensha Armster of Alma, GA; his son, Derrez Jackson of Thomasville, GA, bonus children, Manika Smith, Brandon Pickett and Dajon Bouldin, all of Thomasville, GA; granddaughters, Kaylee Jackson, Gabrielle Davis and Kyrra Bouldin; siblings, Connie Armster of Thomasville, GA, Cassandra Armster of Thomasville, GA, and Cynthia Armster-Head of Moultrie, GA; sister in law, Barbara Armster; a loving and devoted friend, Sharon McCaskill of Thomasville, GA and a host of nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Billie Armster, Frank Armster, Willie "Forty" Armster, Jerome Armster and his twin brother, Joey Armster.
