Johnny Lee Nixon, Jr., also known as Bubba, was born to the late Johnny Lee Nixon, Sr. and Gladys McIntyre Nixon on October 13, 1963 in Thomasville, Georgia.
Johnny graduated from Thomasville High School in 1981. Shortly after, he joined the United States Army on September 9, 1981. In 1984 on September 13, he was discharged honorably. Later on, he migrated to Elyria, Ohio, where he stayed until he heard a mighty, but sweet voice saying "Servant well done". Bubba was a carpenter, he enjoyed fishing, cooking, and most of all spending good quality time with his family, but especially his grandchildren.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Debra Ann Nixon of Ochlocknee, Georgia; brothers: Carlton (Brenda) Nixon and Lyndon Nixon of Thomasville, Georgia; Christopher (Vanessa) Nixon and Jessie (Elaine) Hill of Elyria, Ohio; Jarvis Nixon of Ochlocknee, Georgia;the apples of his eye, his grandchildren: Promyse, Amir, Isa Lamons of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Kyomi Carroll of Elyria, Ohio; Deasia and Morgan Harrison of Atlanta, Georgia. He also leaves to cherish memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceding him in death, which left an empty space in his heart, his parents, Johnny and Gladys Nixon; brother: Johnny "Sonny" Hill; sisters: Naomi Hill and Johnnie Della Roberts; brother-In-Law: Livingston Mobley.
