John Wesley Kerbo, Sr. was born on December 1, 1946, in Thomasville Ga to the late Preston Kerbo and Pauline Grant Kerbo.

Mr. John Wesley was a prayer warrior, and a great listener. He had a good spirit, and a big heart. He would make any negative situation or conversation into a positive one. He was a great leader, teacher, and a man who took care of business. Mr. John Wesley was a long lifetime member of St. Luke CME where he served until he got down in his health, but by heart, he was still apart. He loved playing cards, don't let the quietness fool you, he knew what he was doing, even in his older years. He loved playing checkers and other board and family games especially with his grandkids. He also enjoyed watching WESTERNS and wrestling. Mr. John Wesley was an entrepreneur, working for himself and contracted under others as a roofer and carpenter. They called him, "Mr. Fix It". John Cuda Kerbo was the life of every family gathering. He always made sure his entire family was straight, if he had, everyone had, including those who weren't family. Mr. John Wesley always loved taking family vacations to the beaches and lakes. He enjoyed the water, enjoyed his loved ones, enjoyed putting fun in your life, and enjoyed creating memories that will last forever. He has inspired so many people to do better, to not give up, to always keep fighting, and always stand strong through struggles/obstacles that may come.

Mr. Kerbo was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Wanda Kerbo; grandsons, Marion Kerbo, Jermaine Rogers and Jhaamez Williams; granddaughter, Malia Battle; sister, Mary Evelyn Kerbo and Ora Lee Dennis; brothers, Tommy, Ernest, Charlie, Moses and Clifford.

John "CUDA" Kerbo leaves a large and loving family who mourns his passing. He leaves his children, John Kerbo Jr (Sharon), Lashaun Hadley (Quinton Sr), Ashanti Monique Ross (Maurice), Lazanda Kerbo Jones (Anthony), Zachary Kerbo, Ellen Bell (Keronda), Harold Herbert, Ariel Kerbo and Lorintoe Kerbo; grandchildren, Quinton Hadley Jr, Shy'Nada Williams (Charles), Detroski Kerbo (Tiara), Marqueshia Kerbo Hester (Johnny), Vick Williams Jr (Jasmine), Brianty Kerbo, Tiara Sexion, Demetrius Lee Jr, John Kerbo III, Abreia King, Germain Baynard, Chinosa Johnson, Aliceia Floyd, Shedrick Floyd Jr., Karey Lee, Jabais Kerbo, Alexus Floyd, Alexa Floyd, Shatorria Herbert, Derrion Mckan, Javion Herbert, Dajuan Bell, Ladarrius Small, Zachary Kerbo Jr, Zaleria Kerbo, Jazion Kerbo, Zacharia Kerbo, and Chasen Kerbo; his siblings, Eva Green, Raymond Kerbo, Lester Kerbo, Jacqueline (Jessie) Lovett, Carolyn Simmons, Darlene (Michael) Booker, and Tracey Grant. John also leaves a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
