John Head
June 3, 1938 — April 22, 2022
John Melvin "Dean" Head was born on June 3, 1938 in Brooks County to the late Edison and Leona Head.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
He went to his heavenly resting place on April 22, 2022.
He is survived by his wife, Eddie Mae Head; daughters, Pamela Head, Leslie Coleman, Brandy Head; sons, Kenneth Head (Mildred), Scottie Head (Gloria), Milton Sharpe, Cody Monroe; twenty five grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren; sister in laws, Lucy Mae Spaulding, Hager Walker, Bettye James, Maggie Wilson, Francis Blye, Deborah Archer and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edison and Leona Head; sisters, Ethel Burkes, Thelma Haggins; brothers, Frank Head, Edison Head, Horace Head and Willie C. Head.
