Joe Virgil

Joe Henry Virgil was born on December 25, 1948 to the late Lonnie Virgil and Ola Mae Virgil.
He attended New Union and Magnolia High School.

At an early age, he joined Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Thomasville, Georgia. He was a musician, roofer, and a man of many talents. He departed this life on Friday, July 22, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Ola Mae Virgil, his brother, Melvin Chappel, and nephew, Nathaniel Virgil.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Toleda Virgil and Latoria Virgil; a brother, Leo (Mary) Virgil; a sister, Letty Jones; grandchildren, Brige't Ross, Aysa Williams, Mason Dunbar and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
