Jayden Dewayne Mango was born to Joe Lewis SR and April Mango on October 29, 2003 in Camilla, Ga.
Jayden Confessed Christ and became a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Ga on January 11,2009, where he served as a faithful usher.
He was educated in the Pelham City School Charter System where he was an active member in the band for 6 years. Jayden enjoyed playing his trumpet. While being a scholar Jayden was also active in the Beta Club, FFA, and a member of the Student Government. Jayden was Mr. PHS in May of 2022. Jayden was an honor graduate, he was also the class president for the graduating class of 2022.
On August 18, 2022, Jayden's Dream of becoming a Man of Morehouse became a reality. He was very committed to furthering his education by pursuing a degree as an Education Major with a minor in Cinema, Television, and emerging Media Studies. Although Jayden was very dedicated to his studies at Morehouse, there were other roles on campus that he was involved in. Under the leadership of a special professor, Jayden was in the process of starting his own organization for fashion called Alter Egos.
Jayden had a love for his family and friends and was a light that shined bright everywhere he went. On October 24,2024, God called Jayden home. He departed this earthly place in Atlanta, Ga. Jayden was preceded in death by his loving father, Joe Lewis Mango SR. and his grandparents, Joel Pledger and Rosa A. Mango.
Jayden leaves to honor his memory a loving mother, April Mango, his 2 J's, Jamia Stewart and Joe Mango JR. all of Pelham, Ga, The best granny, Patricia Bonaparte, grandparents Charlie Bonaparte, Henry and Pansy Johnson, all of Camilla, Ga. Forever Friends Laila Carolina of Pelham, Ga, Aunajae' M. Caldwell of Philadelphia, Pa, Cayden Williamson of Flowery Branch, Ga, and Cheniya Conage of Pelham, Ga., two special cousins Natela Bonaparte of Memphis, TN. and Anaya Stewart of Albany, Ga., and two of the most treasured Godchildren Raelyn Jenkins and Jaquaziun Jenkins JR.
Jayden was loved and cherished by many uncles, aunties, cousins, friends, coworkers, teachers, professors, and his brothers of Morehouse.
Jayden will forever be missed and the memories he made with each of us will live on.
