Jayden Sherrod Copeland

Jayden Sherrod Copeland was born on June 3, 2009 to Ericka S. Jenkins and Jaboris Copeland, Sr.

Jayden was a 9th grade student of Thomas County Central High School. He enjoyed playing football, video games and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Joshua's Promise after school program. Jayden planned to enlist in the United States Army after completing high school.

Jayden entered his eternal resting place on May 16, 2024. He will forever be remembered for his smiling face. He will be missed dearly.

Jayden leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Ericka S. Jenkins of Meigs, GA; his father, Jaboris Copeland, Sr. of Meigs, GA;  his siblings, Kemauri Copeland, Ayden Jenkins, Cayden Jenkins, Karlee Jenkins, Kylee Jenkins,  Kameron Copeland, Joshua Copeland, Bryce Reese, Armiyah Reese, Laila Reese, all of Meigs, GA; his grandmother, Charlene Jackson (Roddrick) of  Meigs, GA;  grandfather, Kenny Jenkins; special great grandparents, Karen and Larry Dorn; special cousin that he loved dearly, Shedrica Jenkins; his inseparable pea in the pod cousin/friend, Dewayne Adams of Meigs, GA, and other close friends, Cameron Myrick, Koytez Jackson, Kendrae Reese, Javontay Huntley, Mario Williams, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Jaboris Copeland, Jr.; grandmother, Queen Copeland; and very close friend, Madison McDonald.
