Jarrance "Jay" Lavard Carr was born in Thomasville,
Georgia on November 27, 1985 to Roger Carr, Sr. and
Jacqueline Carr. His brother, Michael Carr, Sr.,
grandfather, James C. Carr, and grandfather, Harold
Gaines, all preceded him in death.
Jay attended the public schools of Thomas County and
graduated from Thomasville High School in 2004.
Jay loved God, life, and his family. He enjoyed spending
time with his family and having a good time. He was
always happy and very respectful to everyone he knew.
Our dearly-departed loved-one, Jarrance "Jay" Lavard
Carr left a legacy of love and care after an extended
illness. On Wednesday, July 1, 2020, God called our
beloved, Jay, Home. Jay's memories will forever be
cherished by his father: Roger Lee Carr, Sr.(Thomasville,
GA); mother: Jacqueline Carr (Seaford, DE); five sisters: Tameka
(Sam) German (Tallahassee, FL), Latasha Carr (Apopka,
FL), Kechia (Shaunke) Barber (Tallahassee, FL), Wakeelah
Spivey (Thomasville, GA), Denise (Ronnie) Bates
(Thomasville, GA); four brothers: Reyes Carr and Roger Carr, Jr.
(Thomasville, GA), Damon Anthony (Troy, AL), Jacquez
Carr (Seaford, DE); grandmothers: Bertha Lee Ross (Thomasville,
GA) and Annie Doris Battle (Seaford, DE); aunts: Sharon
(Charles) Thomas and Abigail Ross (Thomasville, GA),
Diane Carr (Macon, GA), Irma Carr (Buffalo, NY),
Margie Carr (Bronx, NY), Jackie Degree (Buffalo, NY);
uncles: Willie (Benisha) Spivey (Thomasville, GA), Clinto
Carr (Buffalo, NY) Jamie Carr (Rochester, NY), Allen Carr
(Niagara Falls, NY), and a host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives, and friends.
