James Mosley

James Mosley was born on August 21, 1951 in Boston, GA to Minnie Ola Seabrooks Mosley and Leroy Mosley Sr. He departed this life on January 13, 2025.

James married Sharon Counts on September 17, 1976. To this union, one child, Charissa, was born in July, 1979. In June 2010, James and Sharon adopted three grandchildren, Terrence, Jada, and Jason. But he was always 'Grandpa'.

James enlisted in the Army in June, 1971. He served faithfully and honorably until June, 1991. He was stationed in Turkey, Germany, Korea, as well as several installations in the USA. While in the Army, he worked as a Tactical Microwave System Repairer and as a HAWK Firing Section Mechanic. After retiring from the Army, he worked for the US Post Office as a rural mail carrier for several years. After the VA medically retired him, he spent his time doing what he really loved, working on cars.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his brothers and sisters, Musa (Rubynell} Muhammad of Decatur GA, Mary (Johnny) Young of Thomasville GA, Melvin Mosley of Thomasville GA, Hattie Mae Garland of Thomasville GA, Mary Brown of Lauderhill, FL; sister-in-law, Rhunette Mosley of Thomasville, GA and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and Leroy Mosley; brothers, Leroy, Eddie Mack, Johnny B.; sisters, Lorraine, Estella, Bessie, Minnie, Idella and Annie Ruth.
