Jamal Antwan Jordan was born on November 18, 1981, in Thomasville, Georgia, to Alvin H. Sampson and Beatrice Scott. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David "Doc" Sampson; his grandfather, Nathaniel Alfonso Jordan; his grandmother, Florrie Mae Sampson; and his grandmother, Mary Ellis Jordan. Jamal accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was baptized at the age of 13. He was educated through the Thomasville City School System.
Jamal really loved to laugh and joke; there was hardly a dull moment around him. He was loved by many. He had a natural gift of working with his hands, and he loved to fish, a skill he acquired from his late grandmother, Mary Ellis Jordan. Jamal was a very hard worker and would always strive to be the best at what he did. He was very competitive and hated to lose at anything. Jamal was a die-hard Florida Gators fan and didn't mind talking a little trash about his team. He loved his family dearly, especially his daughter Jamiyah. She was his little princess and the apple of his eye. He nicknamed her Jelly Bean and would go to great lengths at times to spoil his baby girl. Jamal will be sorely missed by his friends and family.
He leaves to cherish: His Mother, Beatrice Scott (William); Father, Alvin H. Sampson (Cheryl); Daughter, Jamiyah Jordan; Sisters, Rochella Denise Williams, and Alana Scott; Brothers, Octavian M. Jordan (Shenita), William Scott Jr. (Torrie), and Casey "CJ" Scott; Nephew, Elijah Bean; Nieces, Elayza Bean, Essence Bean, and Destiny A. Jordan; A very special Aunt, Shirley Sampson Forte, and a host of sorrowing uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
