Mr. Ira Lee Clark, Sr. was born January 18,1936 in Meigs, GA to the late Mamie and Lonnie Clark, Sr.
Ira received his education early in Thomas County School System. Ira was employed at Ga Crate & Baskets in the mid 50's. Then moving to Orlando,FL he was employed with the City of Orlando until retirement. After retirement he moved back to GA where he had his own lawn care business for many years.
Ira confessed to Christ at an early age and joined Morningstar Missionary Baptist Church in Meigs, GA.
Ira married to love of his life Mrs. Annie Pearl Clark on August 27,1955, who preceded him in death.
Ira leaves to cherish his loving memories, three daughters, Vonda K. Adams of Thomasville, GA, Hannah Clark and Jelisa Brown of Savannah,GA; two sons, Willie G and Jake Clark of Valdosta; one sister, Betty Sanders of Cairo, GA; two brothers, Lonnie and Curtis (Milla Dean) Clark of Orlando, FL; four sisters-in-law, Ruby Lee Clark and Delphia Hill of Thomasville, GA; Willie Mae Hayes of Valdosta, GA, Katie Glass Atlanta, GA; one aunt, Agnes Roberts of New Jersey City, NJ; seven grandchildren, Jennifer K. Brown, Cairo, GA, Domnique Clark, and Dy'Zella P. Clark of Valdosta, GA, Walter Adams, III, Albany, GA; Carmonique C. Adams and Angel Q Clark of Thomasville, GA; Shelton K. McIntyre of Atlanta, GA; twenty great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; special friends, Jean Torrence of Quitman, GA; James Miller of Thomasville, GA and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ira Lee "Bo" Clark, Jr., daughter, Delores C. Brown, grandchildren, Nakia Clark, Denzel Clark, Navonte Dyer, sisters, Julia Myrick, Shirley Cole, Mary Ann Barker and brother, Rodney Clark.
