Heven Ford, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Ford was born to Ramsey and Etta Lee Ford on December 31, 1938 in Iron City, Georgia.


On September 23, 1957, Heven Ford married Hazel Jean Evans in Thomasville Georgia. They were married for 65 years and from this union were born four children, Sibyl Elaine, Rosalind, Heven Jr. and Montina .


On May 26, 1967, he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses where he served faithfully at the Thomasville Congregation. Many in the congregation considered him a second father figure. He loved music and loved to dance. Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes. He could always make you laugh and loved playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.


Mr. Ford was predeceased by his parents and brother, Cleveland Ford and daughter, Sibyl Elaine Ford Scott.


He is survived by his wife, Hazel Evans Ford and children, Rosalind Ford Moore, Heven (Mary) Ford Jr, Montina (James) Ford Carter, and Etta Lee Reid. Beloved sister in laws, Dorris Evans and Jewel Ford Evans and brother in laws, Melvin (Matria) Evans, and Jamal Nuoo and dear friend, Margaret Dickens. Beloved grandchildren: Selena Nicole Ford, Tekeilla Ricole Moore, Christopher (Camille) Ford, Brittani (David) Ford Young, Katherine Mackenzie Carter, Joseph Reid, and Anthony Reid. Beloved great grandchildren: Gabrielle Burrus, Aiden Ford, Alyssa Ford, Ryker Young, Carter Ford, Destiny Reid, Aries Reid, Anthony Allen Jr., Alissia Reid and a host of other relatives and friends.
