Hattie Jackson Smith

Hattie Jackson Smith, affectionately known as "Donna", was born July 21, 1956 in Phoenix City, AL. to the late Lula Mae Jackson and Louise Davidson.
She attended Central High School in Phoenix City, AL and at an early age she attended Phillips Temple CME Church.

In January 1989, she met the Love of Her Life and he met the Love of His Life on a Blind Date. Two years later on May 8, 1991, they were united in Holy Matrimony. To this union four children were born and Donna gained a loving additional son.

On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, Donna lost her battle with cancer and went home to take her rest. She is missed and loved by so many. She was preceded in death by both parents, sister, Debbie Jackson, brother, Slyvan Jackson, grandparents, Carl Davidson and Amy Davidson.

Donna leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Willie A. Smith; son, Dericos (Terinda) Jackson; daughter, Patrice Jackson of Pelham, GA; son, Desmond (Kyanna) Smith of Ft. Campbell, KY; daughter, Kayla (Moo Moo) of Pelham, GA and son, Ricky (Catrina) of Dacula, GA; her sister, Sonja (Greg) Richardson of Columbus, GA; brothers, Kent (Dagmart) Jackson of Rome, GA, Ron Jackson of Columbus, GA, Carl Jackson of Columbus, GA;God-daughter, Deunyzia Florence of Camilla, GA, thirteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
