Gloria Jean Randall was born to the late Jessie Bell Revels (Bobby Revels) and Matthew Swarn in Mitchell County, GA, on December 29, 1958. She attended the Thomas City School System, graduating as part of the Class of 1979, and lived in Thomas County for the remainder of her life.

Gloria enjoyed fishing and shopping at yard sales. Most of all, she loved visiting family and friends.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Melvin Randall and son, Calvin Amos Hadley; siblings, Vera Robinson, Bennie Wimes, Linda (Curtis) Stevens all of Thomasville, GA, Ella Kemp of Decatur, GA, Barbara (Johnnie) Clark of Cairo, GA, Denise (Alvester) Walker of Douglasville, GA, Bobby (Shirvantes) Revels of Ellenwood, GA, Joyce (Mark) Alleyne of Stockbridge, GA, Tyrone (Doris) Swarn of Pelham, GA, Mattie Swarn of Pelham, GA, Glenn Guise of Palm Beach, FL, Mark Swarn, Matthew Swarn, Minnie Swarn, all of Miami, FL, Brenda Swarn of Pensacola, FL, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
