General Lee Stewart, Jr.

General Lee Stewart, Jr. was born to the late General Lee Stewart and Annie Ruth Stewart on March 23, 1957 in Thomas County. He attended school in Thomas County school system until he was an adult and then continued skill training at the Thomas Grady Training Center.

General accepted Christ at an early age and he loved to serve the Lord. He grew up in Coolidge and later moved to the Centennial community. General joined Sweetfield Missionary Baptist Church during his early adult life. He was willing to serve in any capacity but he loved to usher. General attended many churches in the community and would surely let you know about the upcoming events in the area.

General leaves to mourn, his brother, Howard Stewart (Mary); sisters, Anniebell Stewart and Bessie Stewart. General also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, his residential program family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John Newkirk, Otis C Stewart and sister, Nancy Stewart.
