Brother Frank Williams was born on July 29, 1946 to the late Ernestine Harper and Frank Williams, Sr. in Thomas County. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. He later joined First Missionary Baptist Church in July 1964 under the leadership of Reverend Dr. I. L. Mullins, Sr. During this tenure, of more than fifty years, he was active in the Twenty-first Century CLUB, the Trustee Board, Usher Board #1, the Lift Operator and a member of the Custodians Team.
Brother Williams was employed by Sunnyland, Balfour Lumber Company and Glen Arven Country Club.
He entered the presence of our Savior on Tuesday, December 1, 2022 at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
He leaves to mourn, his children, Carla Williams, Frank Williams, Jr., Frankie Williams, Diane McCoy-Jones; siblings, Dorothy H. Clark, Viola Coston, Daisy Thurman, Alice Edward, Geraldine Grimes, Zester Harper, Terethia and Allen Harper, Alvin Harper, Thomas and Carolyn Harper; grandchildren, Reverend Charles (Latarsha) Jones, Ciara Smith, Charmaine Hopkins, Amber Hopkins, Shantrelle McCoy, Yolanda Shaw; great grandchildren, Jamyakal Jones, Devin Lewis, Jr., Xzaviore Lewis, JiHugh Smith, Gabrielle Hopkins, Kelayziah Shaw, Tate Jackson, Case Jackson; special friends, Brother Shaft Martin, Deacon Herbert (Earlene) Williams, Brother Willie Simmons, Deacon Arthur Smith, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
