Frances Harris

Frances Harris, 86, was born November 22, 1933 to the
late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Harris (Ada Ola Warren Harris).
She was the oldest of four siblings.

She was a domestic worker for more than 40 years and
attended Magnolia High School. She was a faithful lifelong
member of St. Luke CME Church of Thomasville,
Georgia until her health failed.

She was a lover of life and family. She helped to raise all
of her siblings after her mother passed away at an early
age. Frances Harris was a devoted mother, grandmother,
aunt and friend to those in need.

She leaves to cherish beautiful memories: four daughters:
Ada Harris, Idella Harris, Sandra (Malcolm) Bowman,
and Patricia (Sean) Elliott, all of Thomasville, Georgia;
one son: Matthew Simmons, III, Thomasville, Georgia;
one aunt: Willie Ruth Wilson, Thomasville, Georgia;
two special nephews: Artrell Austin, Thomasville, GA
and Ernest Simmons, Atlanta, GA; 18 Grandchildren,
36 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, and sorrowing friends.

One grandson, Rickey Harris preceded her in death, and
three siblings also preceded her in death: Robert Harris,
Laura Harris, and Margie Harris.
