Floyd "Cheetah" Walden was born on November 12, 1952 in Thomasville, GA to Otis Walden, Sr. and Anna Robinson Walden.
He attended Thomasville High School and helped manage the football team. He loved his family, nieces and nephews fiercely. Cheetah was known as the Fun Uncle. He loved to play golf, sing and listen to country music. He believed in helping out those in the community.
He departed this life on October 21, 2022.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his memories are his children, Delisa Walden, Tampa, FL, Heather Walden, Snellville, GA and Floyd Michael (Shantina) Walden, Douglasville, GA; his siblings, Louise (Samuel) Ivey, MaryAnn (James) Thomas, Diangela Walden, Annabell (Walden) Tucker of Bowie, Maryland, Thomas Walden, Charles Walden; his nieces and nephews, Marvin Thomas, Dewayne Thomas, Latasha Thomas, Anastasia Thomas, Jason Walden, Kiesha Walden, Charles Wilkins, Trimesha Wilkins, Veronica Wilkins, Cassandra Allen, Rhonda Hayes, Sabriana McNeil, Stephanie Hill of Atlanta, GA, Christopher Dale Ivey, Angela Harris, Sheryl Walden-Thurman, Anthony Walden of Atlanta, GA, Tony Walden , Abigail Walden, Neal Tucker and Wycender Walden-Thurman; his three grandchildren, Sumiyah, Ameera and Essam and a host of family and friends.
Floyd Walden is preceded in death by parents, Otis Walden, Sr. and Anna Robinson Walden; his siblings, Otis Walden, Jr., James Walden and Willie Walden.
