Rev. Estell Arrington was born on March 28, 1946 in Pavo, GA to the late Amelia and Henderson Arrington. He was one of sixteen children.
Rev. Arrington was legally blind since 1982. He attended schools in Pavo, GA, Coolidge, GA, Wal-Vo-Tech Mechanic School, Hadley School for the Blind, Winnetka, IL, and Bryant Theological Seminary Fitzgerald, GA. He was a Mason for 53 years, an Eastern Star for 49 years, President of the Old Joint Revival for 38 years, Preached 62 years, pastored for 47 years, Home Church Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, Pavo, GA, Rev. Turner, Pastor.
A devoted wife of 56 years, Tinnie Arrington; four sons, John Hollis, Sr, (Mother Lula Smith), Antonio Arrington, Sr., Terry Arrington; eleven grandchildren, Cheyene Morgan, Ashley Arrington, Antonio Arrington, Jr., Dominique Arrington, John Hollis, Jr., Faith Tinese Arrington, Rica D. Arrington, Desmond Johnson, Anthony Jackson, Ricardo Arrington, Jr., Jalen Hollis; three great grandchildren, A'Zariah Arrington, Antonio Arrington III, Drea Joy Arrington; three brothers, Winston Arrington, Talmadge Arrington, Deacon Jeremiah (Betty) Arrington; two sisters, Nina Jackson, and Gloria Arrington; six sisters in law, Ruby Johnson (Willie Charles), Johnnie Johnson, Janice Johnson (Jesse), Mamie Davis, Rosa Screen (Winfred); three brother in laws; a special cousin, Elder Ellis Charles Jackson, and wife, Flora Jean Jackson. and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ricardo Arrington, Sr.
