Ernest Newkirk was born on December 15, 1957 to the late Johnny Newkirk and the late Hattie Newkirk.
Ernest enjoyed NASCAR, baseball, football and fishing. His true passion was fishing and he was great at it. His favorite NASCAR racer was Jeff Gordon #24. He worked for Georgia Crate for 47 years until his health declined.
He departed this life on November 8, 2023.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Vanessa Newkirk; his brothers, Windell Newkirk, Johnny Newkirk, Elbert Newkirk, Robert Newkirk; his sisters, Alice Newkirk, Mildred Hightower, Hattie Walker and a host of friends and other relatives.
