On January 09, 2026, the angel of mercy came and received the soul of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born to the late Oliver and Emma Hayes of Thomasville, Georgia, on July 1, 1941.

She was a faithful member of Willow Head Missionary Baptist Church, Thomasville, GA. She was united in holy Matrimony to the late Joseph Clark. She was a born-again Christian who loved the Lord, her church family.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two children, Phyllis Clark-Wilson, Thomasville, GA Cedric Clark, Thomasville, Georgia; sisters, Johnnie Mae Carley (Quinton) and Beverly Williams (Otis); brother, Oliver Hayes (Mary Frances), Sr.; brother-in-law, Joseph Thompson, sisters-in-law, Annie Bell Hayes, Fannie Mae Hayes, all of Thomasville, GA Grandchildren: Dominic Clark, Tifton, GA, Maya Clark, Nikita Sharpe and Kelton Butler all of Thomasville, GA; great grandchildren: Tyree Hayes, Thomasville, GA Da’mizein Clark, Ra’Kizein Clark, Tifton GA. Eron Butler Thomasville and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Clark, six sisters and 3 brothers Patsena Fruitree, Annie Grace Brown, Virginia Adams, Mary Newkirk, Lillie Webb, Sarah Thompson, her twin, Earl Hayes; Charles Hayes, Jr. and Robert Hayes Sr.
