Eric Herring, Jr., also known as Big Daddy, was born in Thomasville, GA on August 27, 1994 to Nan Brown and Eric Herring, Sr.
Eric graduated in 2012 from Westover High School in Albany, GA. Later, he began his career as a substitute
teacher with ESS. He returned to further his education at Southern Regional Technical College, earning his Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Eric Herring, Jr. enjoyed singing, teaching, and being a
comedian. In his spare time, he loved reading the Bible and listening to gospel music. He enjoyed spending time with his family, selling cell phones accessories. He was known for his great sense of humor, jokes and has a smile that would light up a room. At the early age of 9, Eric accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at age 17. He was a giver of knowledge and wisdom.

Mr. Herring is preceded in death by his granddad, Rosevelt Herring, Sr., great grandmothers, Rhetta Jones and Laura Bell Young, his uncle, Rosevelt Herring, Jr., and his great aunt, Ollie-Mae Fogle.
