Eric Davis 72, of Thomasville, Georgia, was born to Mable and the late Napoleon Davis Sr. on November 7, 1949, and passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on February 6, 2022.
He attended the Thomas County School system and graduated from Douglas High School in 1968.
He was employed at Stock*It furniture and Georgia Crate Factory, at a very early age in life followed by many years of working self employed as a Log Truck owner operator, Auto Mechanic and Carpenter which he later retired from Thomasville Furniture in Thomasville, Georgia.
He had many hobbies such as carpentry, repairing cars and studying law just to name a few, which he was very dedicated to. He was a jack of many trades. There was no job too big nor too small for him. Eric was a loving kind person although firm, he led his life with a giving heart. He was a man of his word who always provided words of wisdom and always had a smile on his face.
He will be truly missed by those who loved him and befriended him. We will cherish each moment and keep his memories dear in our hearts.
Eric will be predeceased by his beloved son: Patrick Davis, his father, Napoleon Davis, Sr., his sister, Sandy Davis Jones, brother, Cornelius Davis and a lifetime friend, Barbara Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memories, three children, Ericka (Bobby) Bell of Orlando, FL, Shurika (Eric Comer) Davis of Orlando, FL, Dante Jackson of New York; his mother, Mable Davis of Thomasville, GA; siblings, Napoleon (Teresa) Davis Jr. of Fort Wort, TX, Robbie Ann Davis Thomasville, GA, Harry Davis and Bobbie Davis of Thomasville, GA, Dennis Davis of Fort Worth, TX, Ashley Davis, Gloria Davis of Fort Worth, TX, Harvey Davis Of Thomasville ,GA,; Dusty (Arissie) Davis of Thomasville, GA, Heef Davis of Thomasville, GA, Helen Banks of Thomasville, GA, Al Whitehead of Thomasville, GA; eleven grandchildren, Janeka Davis, Iuyuna Davis, Tyyuna Pekeins, Laquitae Johnson, Laquatae Johnson, Quterica Johnson, Keyyuna Perkins, Bryyuna Smith, Louis Johnson, Azia Richardson, Caleb Bell; four great grandchildren, Gabriella Davis, Caleb Davis, Azariah Odums, Amirah Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
