Ella Mae Reese was born on March 22nd, 1951 to Allen Reese Sr, and Addie Martha Reese in Meigs, Georgia.
Coming from a large family, she was the 8th sibling out of 10. She graduated from Lincoln-Brown School in Meigs, Georgia.
She was a devoted "Mama", "Ma", auntie, cousin, and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends where you would always catch her smiling. She was genuinely one of the sweetest persons one could ever meet. She loved to play card games like Uno, Tonk, and Pitty Pat, where she taught many in the family how to play. She loved to help others and always wanted everyone to be happy. She loved to care for her family.
Ella Mae entered into rest peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents; Allen Reese Sr, and Addie Martha Reese, her two sons; Bruce Clark and Shiron Reese, her siblings; James (Timmy) Reese Sr, Martha Dean West, Bernard Reese, Deanzie Hardwick, Rosa Lee Stacey, Allen Reese Jr, and Emma Lee Turner.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her daughter, Shirlene (Ronald) McNeil, Meigs, GA; three grandchildren, Jasmine (Terrence) Clark, Meigs, GA, Derrick (Sybol) Rembert Sr, Thomasville, GA, and Sankala Harper, Moultrie, GA; nine great grandchildren, Zyrian Clark, Zariah Clark, Jasmine King, Derrick Rembert Jr, Khloe Rembert, Mitchell Thompson, Makynsie Harper, D'Caden Thomas, and Jordyn Harper; two siblings, Boykin (Evone) Reese, Meigs, GA and Jim Reese, Cairo, GA; three special nephews, who she was a "mother figure" to, James Reese Jr, Timothy Reese, and Terrace Reese, and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
