Elizabeth Ann Davis

July 17, 1951 — March 25, 2024

After having fought a good fight and victoriously finishing her course, Elizabeth Ann Davis peacefully ascended to her eternal home on Monday, March 25, 2024. Elizabeth was the first born to the late Fred Davis and Corine Frasier-Davis on July 17, 1951 in Thomasville, GA where she attended public school and was a 1969 graduate of Douglass High School. After graduation, Elizabeth relocated to Detroit, Michigan.


Growing up, Elizabeth was raised by her maternal grandparents, Thomas & Lottie Frasier, along with two 1st cousins, Johnny Frasier and Lottie (Cookie) Frasier. Her grandparents were devout Christians. Elizabeth, Johnny & Cookie were in church for Sunday School and Sunday Service. Elizabeth developed a strong love for the Lord that grew even stronger when she moved to Detroit. She joined Tried Stone Missionary Baptist Church where she was a loyal and active member. She served faithfully on the Usher Board until her health would no longer allow her to be active. She started her working career in Detroit at Champion Spark Plugs. Elizabeth's last 25 years of employment was as a school bus driver for DHT Transportation in Detroit Michigan.

COUSINS: Thomas(Sonny) White(Luci), Lottie (Cookie) Frasier, Mary Frasier, Kimberly Frasier, Phyllis Sanders, Detroit, MI. Doris Frasier Atlanta, GA, Eugene Frasier, Riverside California; Arthurene Williams, Kevin Sims, St. Petersburg, FL NIECES and NEPHEWS: Laurette Jenkins, John Ross III, Letita Davis, Thomasville, GA, Jennifer Mickens, General Mickens, Brandon and Al Davis, St. Petersburg, FL She also leaves a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and classmates Sister Deborah Davis preceded Elizabeth in death.
