Ms. Elice J. Brooks, age 65, was born on July 30, 1960, to the late Boykin Reese and Geraldine Mitchell. She attended Thomas County Central High School and was employed with Tyson Foods in Camilla, Georgia.

On Sunday, March 15, 2026, Elice peacefully transitioned at her home in Meigs, Georgia, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Reginald Brooks; her siblings, Anthony Brooks and Steve Reese; and her father, Boykin Reese.

Elice leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving mother, Geraldine Mitchell; her stepmother, Evone Reese; her children, Fredrick Brooks, Corey Brooks (Taneisha), and Perez Jackson; and her siblings, Marcus Mitchell (Catherine), Carnell Mitchell, Benjamin Davis (Lakisa), Fitzgerald Mitchell, Kenneth Reese (Jessica), Della Jones (Quetin), Benjamin Reese, Kim Reese (Pam), and Sandra Reese.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Kazzeney Brooks, Kenyere Walden, and Noah Brooks; her aunts, Marion Cochran, Karen Dorn (Larry), Regina McClendon (Riley), Vera Jackson, Glenda Brooks, Annie Ruth Conage (Curtis), and Helen Berryhill (Vince); her uncles, Glenn Brooks and Lewis Brooks (Levern); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
