Elaine Drew

Elaine Drew was born on March 6, 1964 in Thomasville,
GA to the late Lucious and Lula (Simpson) Walden. She
attended the Thomas County school systems, graduating
from Thomas County Central High School. Elaine was
married to Danny E. Drew for 31 years, a devoted
husband who loved her unconditionally. Elaine gave her
life to Christ at a very young age. Elaine became an
Evangelist on July 27, 2008. She attended Kairos Worship
Center.

Elaine was a gentle soul who never met a stranger. She
was very positive, forgiving, kind and eager to lead
someone to Christ. She enjoyed church functions,
spending time with family and making others laugh. She
and her husband, Danny built a home centered on Christ
and love which poured into the lives of those that they
encountered.

She leaves to cherish her devoted husband, Danny Drew,
Meigs, GA; daughter, Ashley Ivey Copeland, Thomasville,
GA; brothers, Rufus (Glenda) Walden, Atlanta, GA, Ralph
(Salem)Walden, Gatier, MS; sister, Linda (Wayne) Rauls,
Meigs, GA; Odessa Sutton, Meigs, GA; Vincent Wynn,
Thomasville; GA, Terry Wynn, Ochlocknee GA; sister in
law, Marilyn Morton, Jacksonville, FL; brother in law,
Terrell Drew; Jacksonville FL; brother in law, Broderick
(Anessa) Drew; brother in law, Derryll (Callie) Drew.
grandchildren, Daeyun Toussaint, Camron Brooks and
Earl Brooks, III; god daughter, Sophia White, Thomasville,
GA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Elaine was preceded in death by her son, Dwayne Copeland,
her brother, John Henry Mansfield and her sister, Deborah
Hines.
