Edward "Eddie" Hagood was born on June 17, 1999 in Detroit Michigan. He was his mom's first son. He was named after his late uncle, Edward Payne Griles.
Eddie passed away in Thomasville, GA on December 17, 2024, which happened to be his late grandfather, Louis Burgess's birthday.
Eddie is the son of Carol Burgess and Antonio Hagood; the father of Ke'vai Kimmons, Esayah Spencer, and King Adams; and the brother of Cristin Burgess, De'Ivory Gray, Antonio Hagood Jr., Tonea Hagood , Arkiel Hagood, Maleek Burgess, Mecca Pittman, Malachi Burgess, AJ Lee, Jr. and Tatyana Hagood.
Eddie was an amazing basketball player and secretly a great singer. He was known by many as very respectful and helpful to his elders, very much a giver and lover and someone who spoke life and God unto others. He was also known for being overly goofy, speaking his mind, and always talking mess to any and everyone. He loved cracking jokes and playing pranks on people. He was literally one of the goofiest people you would ever meet. When Eddie was a kid, he was diagnosed with epilepsy. Not many people knew about his condition because he was such a non complaining vibrant person. He didn't like people to feel bad for him, unless, of course, he was hungry (super greedy).
Eddie was shot previously and survived his injuries. He literally taught himself how to walk, even after doctors declared him a paraplegic. He was literally one of the strongest people ever and was described by most people as a "hardbody". To his siblings, he was invincible, even in his afterlife. His energy will forever live on.
