Eddie "Lee" Edwards Jr., 47, of Thomasville, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on July 1, 2026.
Born on February 9, 1979, to Beverly Jones and Eddie Edwards Sr. (Jeanette Edwards). Lee accepted Christ at an early age and became a faithful member of Willow Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a dedicated deacon for many years.
Lee was known for his strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to helping others. He earned the respect of many through his integrity, leadership, and willingness to encourage those around him. Above all, he was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather whose greatest joy was his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Japonica Edwards; his children, Ja'Quez Edwards, India Edwards, Jayden Edwards, Ja'Kobe Edwards, Eddie Edwards III, Jakaesha Campbell, and Brandon Stewart; his beloved grandchildren, Malani Kemp, Ava Edwards, Karmen Edwards, Raelyn Edwards, Golden Edwards, Cho'zyn Edwards, Ja'Kyah Campbell, Dylan Campbell, Ja'Kylan Campbell, Keahni Campbell, Karter Campbell, Jayda Stewart, and A'Legend Tillman; his parents, Beverly Jones and Eddie Edwards Sr. (Jeanette Edwards); his sister, Narvareaz Colson (Derek Colson); his sister-in-law, Shedricka West (Gary West); his mother-in-law, Linda Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cleveland Edwards Sr., Christine Edwards, Ed Jones, Jerry Mae Jones, brother, Jerry Edwards, and and father-in-law, Clifton Brown.
Lee's faith, love for his family, and legacy of service will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
