In my business, that's what he always said. Just ask him a question, and he says "there you go, in my business." He was a private man. Born and raised in Ochlocknee, Georgia. He left after graduation and joined the United States Marine to become an official "Jarhead." After serving, he worked for the government accomplishing many obstacles with leaps and bounds. An overachiever in his field.
Chesapeake, VA, became his new stomping ground. If you asked him what he did. He would say, "There you go, in my business." True to his family and those he called a friend. There weren't many who knew Donnie the man. Let's talk sports, stocks and politics, anything to debate. Donnie's way was the right way, now make him believe it's not. I bet you can't. If it wasn't his way, it wasn't right. Him and Uncle Roscoe would debate into an argument all night. Shhhhh... be quiet and listen to those left behind. Donnie was loyal, fun, and serious and a man of God.
Family that proceeded him in death, his parents, Emary and Sadie Daphney, brothers, Emary Jr., Billie and Roscoe Daphney; and nephew, McCarthy Andrew Daphney.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Reginald Jones (Malekia); grandchildren, Dexter Jackson II (Jamica), Tariq James, Hadley Jackson (Sara), Ra'Shun Jackson, seven great grandchildren; nephews, Cedrick Daphney, Reginald Daphney, Kevin Nixon, Jeff Franklin, Jeffrey Daphney, Dwayne Daphney; great nieces and nephews, Andreus Daphney, Jalen Daphney, Jordan Daphney, Jalysa Harris, Miriam Daphney, Elizabeth Daphney, Autumn Daphney; his Thomas County friends and family, The Jones Family The Myrick Family, The Spivey Family, The Walden Family, and many others; his Chesapeake Family, James Williams, Lawrence Rainey, Edward Lovejoy, Toni Wright, Chester Walton, and The BTM Community.
