Percola Coston
June 11, 1939 – March 3, 2026
Delma Percola Coston was born on June 11, 1939, to the late Warren Spivey and the late Gertrude Conage Spivey in Thomasville, GA. She departed this life on March 3, 2026.
Delma Coston married the love of her life, John Coston, on May 14, 1955. They shared a loving marriage until his passing on December 17, 2009. Together, they were blessed with 11 children, though their 11th child was stillborn.

She later worked as a dietician at Camilla Gardens. Delma also worked with Cora’s Beauty Salon as a shampooer and eventually became well known for her skill in doing Jerry curls, a style that many people came to love and request from her.
Delma was a faithful member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board. She also helped usher at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church until she was no longer able.
In her free time, Delma enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, The Price Is Right and The Steve Harvey Show. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her hard work, and her service to her church and community.
