Deidre Alexia "Babygirl" Green was born December 17, 1979 in Hollywood, Florida to the late Sandra (Willis) Green and Jerome Green Sr.
At an early age, Deidre confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Thomasville, Georgia. She excelled in grade school and was graduated from Thomasville Highschool in May of 1998. By her senior year, Deidre was active on campus earning her spot with the National Honor Society. She, also, served as Vice President of HOSA, Health Occupation Students of America which influenced pursuit of Health Sciences in post-secondary school. While in college, Deidre studied Physical Therapy at Thomas Technical College where she earned her certificate. Shortly thereafter, she would attend Thomas University where she would acquire her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. And still, Deidre's accolades would multiply beyond her academic career.
A small town girl at heart, Deidre's greatest love in life was God and her family. Having grown up around trucks all her life, Deidre gained an interest in the trucking and logistics industries at the leadership of her father, Jerome Green Sr, whose career in trucking lasted over 38 years until his passing in 2016. Deidre credits her father, whose handle when driving was "Hammer" with being her "human database" when it came to trucking. His vast career as a multi-company driver, new hire driver trainer, and owner operator propelled Deidre to pursue additional training and knowledge of the industry laying the foundation for the firm she would later establish in honor of her father. DG Transport Staffing Solutions Logistics Network LLC is the product of Deidre and her father's immersive love of the trucking industry. As CEO and Carrier Coordinator, Deidre was certified and provided consultant services in Dispatch, Broker, New Authority, and Compliance Training. She loved her clients and practiced integrity in every aspect of her work. "You must have a love for people to be in this game... here we're about transforming lives one mile at a time," and that she did.
To accompany her trucking career, Deidre founded DG Peach Design Studios which offered innovative web design and marketing solutions. This includes web and logo design, social media marketing, business branding, promo videos, animations, email campaigns, e-books, and more. Aside from work endeavors, Deidre tapped into her passion for beauty and fashion establishing Beautiful Diamond Cosmetics LLC. Here she expressed her love for all natural and cruelty-free products, modeling her own products which did not define, but rather complimented, her natural beauty. In her words, Beautiful Diamond Cosmetics was "a brand for the Baddies" which in Deidre's eyes meant every woman could wear her brand! Her inner beauty was truly illuminating.
Following in her passion for entrepreneurship and legacy building, Deidre did selfless work honoring and serving Veterans and Seniors, gathering donations for and sending flowers to cancer patients, an activity she performed in honor of her parents, more respectively after the passing of her Beloved mother, Sandra, in December of 2003. Despite any loss and perceived setbacks, Deidre evolved to be the most beloved and timeless figure that a person can be, an inspiration. We will forever remember her as a Child of God, a daughter, a sister, a niece, a cousin, a friend, and a lover. More altruistically, we will remember Deidre Alexia "Babygirl" Green as the lifesize blueprint of how to be the best person God preordained you to be.
