Debbie Dorella Carnage Crumidy

August 7, 1961 — August 30, 2025

Mrs. Debbie Dorella Carnage Crumidy was born on August 7, 1961, in Thomasville, GA, to Evelyn Mitchell Carnage and the late George Leeman Carnage.

Mrs. Debbie was a fine servant of the Lord. She moved to Rochester, NY, at a young age but later returned to Georgia to complete her education. Debbie was a hardworking, loving, caring, and sweet mother, wife, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and grandmother. During her time, she met her husband, the late Joseph V. Crumidy, Sr. Together, they shared a family that included Debbie's son, Habakkuk Carnage, whom Joseph also cared for. Later, Debbie had three additional children. She then attended Second Presbyterian Church, where she served faithfully by helping with bake sales and any event assigned to her. Later, she began attending Thomas Technical Institute and earned two degrees: one in Business and Office Technology with a specialization in Medical Secretary, and another as an Information Processing Specialist, graduating on December 19, 1995. Debbie subsequently took a position as an ER Registration Clerk at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital, where she worked for over 15 years and loved her job.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Habakkuk Carnage; her daughters, Celeste Crumidy and Debra (Kenneth) Lashore; her grandchildren, Brianna Crumidy, Da'Terrius Adama, and Ke'Yanna Lashore; her mother, Evelyn Bryant; her brothers, George (Beverly) Carnage of Thomasville, GA, and Craig (Carol) Carnage of Cairo, GA; her sisters, Jeri Covington of St. Louis, MO, and Georgia Carnage of Rochester, NY; her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Dunlap and Edna Jones; nephews, Craig and George; nieces, Christina, Ashley, and Brittney; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends, and other family members.

Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph V. Crumidy, Sr.; her son, Joseph V. Crumidy, Jr.; her grandson, PFC Keshawn Crumidy; her grandparents, David and Mary Mitchell; her father, George Leeman Carnage; sister in law, Annie Crumidy; and her brothers-in-law, Jerome Jones and Richard Dunlap.
