On November 13, 1961, Mr. David Leon Belcher was born to the late Eddie and Beatrice Allen Belcher. Mr. Belcher was a long life resident of Thomasville, GA.
He graduated from Thomasville High School with the class of 1980. In 1998, Mr. Belcher joined House of Deliverance. He was the head Deacon under the leadership of Pastor Jack McFadden of Cairo, GA. Later in life, he became a member of Rose City Cogic, under Pastor Gerald Horne from Cairo, GA. He was a chef for Glen Arven Country Club until his health failed. He departed this earth on January 16, 2022.
In 1984, God blessed him with the love of his life, Teresa Belcher. On March 14, 1990, God joined them in Holy Matrimony. They were inseparable until his death. She was his love, his life, his friend and the reason for him to fight to stay in this life on earth. In 2014, Mr. and Mrs. Belcher became united in Godly love with a Goddaughter, Madison Ivey Anderson. He loved her so much. She was "his Ivey" and he was her "King David". She was his little angel sent by God, a divine blessing in David's life.
Mr. Belcher was a very well dresser. He always wore his strength and his love for the Lord on his silver cross necklace daily.
He was a very good son, husband, Godfather, brother, brother in law, uncle, great uncle and friend. We will forever cherish his memory. We are grateful and thankful to our Lord God for lending him to us for over sixty years.
